‘Butterfly Stroke’ goes on poster

‘Butterfly Stroke’ has published bran-new poster.

The film’s official poster, designed by Mohammad-Hossein Houshmandi, is released just as it has launched public screenings in Iran on June 24, 2020 observing the health protocols related to COVID-19.   

‘Butterfly Stroke’ made its theatrical debut at the 38th Fajr Film Festival in Iran where it succeeded to bag five Crystal Simorghs. It was also selected as the most popular Audience Picks.

Directed by Mohammad Kart and produced by Rasoul Sadr-Ameli, ‘Butterfly Stroke’ narrates the story of some ostracized people from the poverty-stricken neighborhoods in Tehran.

The people have to pretend to be strong if they want to survive the brutality of their environment.

Some top-rating Iranian actors such as Mohammad-Javad Ezzati, Tannaz Tabatabaee, Mahlaqa Baqeri, Pantea Bahram, Ali Shademan, and Amir Aqaee have starred in the flick.
